Our Story

Every great creation begins with imagination.

Sky Stone Studios was founded in 2019 in Kampala, Uganda, by Evans Muwanguzi with a dream to transform ideas, stories, and imagination into reality.

The journey started from a passion for animation, visual effects, movies, art, and technology. Growing up, stories from cinema and animation showed the power of creativity — how characters, worlds, and experiences could inspire people, teach important lessons, and create unforgettable memories.

This created a vision:

To build a creative studio that does more than create visuals — a studio that tells meaningful stories, inspires people, and contributes to the growth of Africa's creative industry.

Evans Muwanguzi is the founder and CEO of Sky Stone Studios, a creative entrepreneur passionate about storytelling, technology, and artistic innovation.

His creative journey was shaped by a love for animation, VFX, movies, graphics, and the ability to imagine new worlds.

An introduction to Blender 3D through a friend opened a new creative path, allowing imagination to move from ideas in the mind into digital experiences.
