Creating water simulation in Blender3D
Create a water simulation in Blender3D Step by Step
Created by: Evans Muwanguzi
Fluid is one of the options you find in the physics tab. this helps you in creation of water, fire and smoke simulations
Today lets create a water simulation
Steps
- Domain Setup
- Flow Setup
- Effector Setup
- Baking
- Rendering
Domain
This is were our fluid is going to be established.
The domain also holds all the settings our fluid is going to have for example the type of fluid let it be Horney or just water
- Domain type
This is what is going to come out saying water, fire or smoke- Resolution Divisions
The higher the more real is the simulation but higher may need better computer properties.- Simulation Method
Fractional ObstaclesObstacles distance
Threshold
- Particles settings
Spray Foam Bubbles.- Mesh
This is how the fluid is look like i.e. the partial radius and smoothing factor.Flow Setup
You now choice what type of flow you need from the listed.
Inflow; This lets water into the simulation.
Outflow; This lets Water out of the simulation.
Fluid; This is when the flow object is the water its self
Effector Setup
Easy to setup just selected the object and in the fluid selected click on effector and you are ready to go.
Baking
The use of baking is to smooth up the simulation after baking you are ready to render you simulation.
